SIMILE's: LIFE's LESSON FROM THINGS AROUND US

This is my collection of SIMILE's. A direct comparison of random life's lesson to things around us. It's amazing to think that we can actually learn something from almost everything in this world.

LIKE A FLOWER,
We're vivid, vibrant and youthful.
But destined to wither and die.
Life, as it has always been, is ephemeral.

LIKE A GRASS,
People may step on it,
and may wilt for some time.
But for as long as it is not uprooted,
eventually it will live again.

In life, faith to God must be deep within.
For as long as you have it burrowed on you,
you will always find a reason to live.

LIKE THE CLOUDS,
When its dark and heavy, it rains.
Only then it'll be whiter and lighter.
So we, humans, in times of heaviness
and gloom, cry it out.

LIKE A SKYSCRAPER,
No matter how tall and majestic it became,
we must owe it to the workers who built it.
Like us, we will not be what we are right now
if not for the people who molded and nurtured us to achieve such prominence and success.

LIKE A FERRIS WHEEL
Life is a cycle, hence,
a continuous thing.
We may have started at
its lowest point but as we progress,
we eventually reach its peak.
For life in the air is unsustainable,
we came to realize we have to
go down and set our feet
back on the ground. Just in
time for a new cycle to begin.

LIKE A LAMP POST,
That sheds light upon dark pathways,
purpose is what makes it worthy of its existence.
We must know what our purpose in life is.
For life without a purpose is no life at all.

 LIKE AN EYEGLASSES
Sometimes we can't see and understand things clearly.
Sometimes we see a different perspective from others.
We need someone to broaden our views.
It'll make our judgement sound.
